Join us for our second Chamber Music Exchange between Harvard and Uppsala Universities initiated by Paul-André Bempéchat, Artist-In-Recidence at Leverett House, Harvard University and Director musices Stefan Karpe. The result is an exchange between students from Harvard and members from the Royal Academic Orchestra.

The program will include two U.S. premières and two beloved quartets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart:

Mozart: Quartet for Oboe and Strings
Viking Dahl: Pastoral, Opus 3, no. 1, for Oboe and Piano, K. 370

Arne Mellnäs: Trio for Strings
Mozart: Piano Quartet no. 2 in E-flat major, K. 493

The performers, Bo Pontopiddan (violin), Helga Löfvenius (viola), Sara Kalla (cello) and Anna Randelin (oboe), are members of the Royal Academic Orchestra at Uppsala University, the Uppsala University Chamber Players. This is their second tour in the U.S. and second appearance at the Scandinavian Living Center with Paul-André Bempéchat.
