Support programming and get fit by joining our Virtual Walk of Iceland’s Ring Road. The virtual walk will take you on an 828mi (1,332km) road trip around Iceland.
Each time you complete a distance-based exercise such as running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc, you advance along the map of the Ring Road in Iceland.

Virtually Travel the Ring Road in Iceland
Our mobile app will map your progress on a virtual 828mi (1,332km) route on Ring Road. Every time you add a workout, you also advance on the map.
Not only can you see your avatar and others on the map, but you can also explore your virtual surroundings on Street View as you go along Ring Road.

Track your Progress
You can track all your miles (or kilometres) directly into our mobile iOS and Android apps.
You can enter an activity into the app either by manually entering its distance or by syncing your activities from your favorite fitness tracker or smartwatch.
Plant Real Trees or Stop Plastic Bottles from Entering the Ocean as You Advance
We will donate toward planting a tree or stopping 10 bottles from entering the ocean for every 20% of the challenge you complete. There’s no extra work or cost for you — just make sure you keep exercising!
By the end of the challenge, you will have planted 5 trees or have stopped 50 bottles from entering the ocean. Imagine what we can achieve as a community!
So far, The Conqueror Virtual Challenges have planted 8,655,672 trees and stopped 23,019,820 bottles of ocean plastic.
Event Highlights
You will visit places like Seljalandsfoss, Dyrhólaey, and Jökulsárlón as you make your way through the magical Ring Road + 10 other iconic landmarks!
The trek starts on July 1st. Invite your friends and family from anywhere around the globe and walk together while supporting Nordic arts and culture.
