The Scandinavian Library presents: Ingrid Bergman – In Her Own Words
Whether headlining films in Sweden, Italy, or Hollywood, Ingrid Bergman always pierces the screen with a singular soulfulness. With this intimate and artful documentary, made to mark the 100th anniversary of Bergman’s birth, director Stig Björkman allows us unprecedented access to her world, loving culled from the most personal of archival materials – letters, diary entries, photographs, and home movies shot by Ingrid herself. The documentary follows Bergman’s life from youth to tumultuous married life and motherhood.

Films start at 1:30pm. Refreshments for attendees are served at 1pm. Lunch (not included) is available in the Kaffestugan, which is open until 3pm every Saturday.
