Exhibit: Images of Iceland/Lunar Love Flow
Images of Iceland by photographer Liza Voll are on display to coincide with the launch of Jenn Falk’s new book, Lunar Love Flow. This book is a celebration of the beauty of Iceland, a place where both Jenn and Liza have experienced profound spiritual shifts. It is also an offering on practicing yoga with the lunar cycles and with nature’s rhythms which then connects us to our own personal rhythms. This exhibition features landscape and nature shot in Iceland on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula during the fall of 2015 by Liza while on a yoga retreat led by Jenn.
This is exhibit will by on display through May. All prints are for sale. A portion of sales will benefit the programming at the SCC.About the creators:
Jenn Falk’s teaching is an expression of her artistic spirit and creative energy. She guides classes using intuition, energy awareness, and the cycles of the moon along with the variety of yoga styles/teachers she’s learned from over the years (hatha, vinyasa, yin and restorative). She calls her style of yoga Lunar Love Flow.
Liza Voll is a commercial photographer specializing in portraits, performances, and documentary media shot on location. Her work has been published in the New York Times and Dance Magazine. She has shot in venues from New York’s Lincoln Center to Boston’s Symphony Hall and Opera House, created work abroad in Iceland and France, and current clients include the Boston Ballet, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston Lyric Opera, Google, and Harvard University.
